Under the auspices of the Dean of the Institute of Laser at University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Kadhum A. Adem, the Unit of Scientific Affairs organized a scientific workshop entitled “Femtosecond Fiber Lasers: Design Strategies and Application Insights”. The workshop was presented by Dr. Hani Jassim Kabashi, a lecturer at Aston University in the UK, and discussed the latest techniques in femtosecond fiber lasers, their design mechanisms, development strategies, and advanced scientific and industrial applications. The workshop was held on Sunday, November 2, 2025, in the Prof. Dr. Mazin Manuel Elias Hall, attended by faculty members and postgraduate researchers from the institute. It featured fruitful interactions and scientific discussions. This workshop is part of the institute’s ongoing efforts to support scientific research and keep pace with global advancements in laser technologies and their applications.
